As you travel through the colorful locations of Palia, you can find and catch many unique bugs, and the Garden Leafhopper is one of them. Being an Uncommon creature, it can be a great source of income or help you become friends with Auni or Jel. But if you’re not interested, you can catch a few to make them your pets. However, regardless of your goals, it won’t take long to find Garden Leafhopper in Palia, as you can find it just by walking around Kilima Valley. But knowing its preferred habitats and habits will help you catch these insects more effectively.
Where To Find Garden Leafhopper in Palia
As we said earlier, to find a Garden Leafhopper in Palia, you should go to the Kilima Valley area and walk through the local fields. We advise you to visit the clearings near Mirror Pond Ruins or Mirror Fields or the area around Badruu’s Farm in the Leafhopper Fields area, as these areas are the main habitats of the Garden Leafhopper. Additionally, you can encounter this insect as a random 5% spawn during foraging Spice Sprouts.
Being an Uncommon insect, the Garden Leafhopper spawns quite often, but you will have to spend some time before you get used to its coloring and quickly notice it. The light green color is an excellent natural camouflage, making it almost invisible on the grass.
How To Catch Garden Leafhopper
Once you have found it, you can easily catch it by throwing 2 to 3 of the most common Standard Smoke Bombs. However, we do not recommend doing this right after you notice it, as you risk missing with a throw. After you approach this insect, it will jump to the side, freeze, and not move for some time. Throwing a Smoke Bomb at this time is the best way to guarantee a hit.
How To Use Garden Leafhopper in Palia
Even though the Garden Leafhopper is just an Uncommon insect, you can use it in several ways:
- First, you can sell this insect for 49 Gold or 63 Gold if you catch its Quality version. Considering that it spawns relatively often, this is a good source of income.
- Secondly, you can give this insect to NPCs such as Auni, Elouisa, or Jel. They may also ask you to bring a Garden Leafhopper as a quest item.
- Finally, you can make Garden Leafhopper your pet by placing it in a terrarium.
