This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Eventually, you’ll want one of the exceptional, high-level Pals in Palworld so you can maybe brag to your friends in multiplayer or just for the sake of it. But the Legendary Pals can be too much and might take you too long. Still, one level 47 Pal named Anubis turns out to be something you can have early on. Catching Anubis at level 47 is a hard fight that you wouldn’t want, but you can have him earlier with the help of our Anubis Breeding guide.

How to Breed Anubis in Palworld

You’ll need to breed two specific Pals for Anubis if you want him as early as level 20 (more or less). First, a disclaimer is in order. While you can get an Anubis much earlier than the endgame phase where you have level 50 or so Pals, it will be a level 1 Anubis. That’s just how breeding works in Palworld.

You will still need to level up this particular Anubis you’ve bred. However, the effort is worth it as it’s one of the most formidable Pals in the game and something you can use to catch higher-level Pals. Here’s a step-by-step process in our Anubis breeding guide.

  1. Grab the Egg Incubator once you reach Tier or Level 7 of the tech tree.
    • To unlock the Egg Incubator, you need Ancient Technology Points which you can obtain by defeating an Alpha Pal or boss. we recommend fighting the level 11 Chillet near the cold or snowy areas of the map (sometimes it appears in the center of the map). You’ll want to catch Chillet for the next step.
  2. Get two different Pals that you can crossbreed. The following combinations will produce an Anubis as their offspring. There just has to be one male and one female Pal.
    • Bushi + Penking
    • Bronchery + Relaxaurus
    • Chillet + Quivern
    • Celeray + Menasting
    • Gobfin + Suzaku
    • Kitsun + Jormuntide
    • Ragnahawk + Tombat
    • Rushoar + Suzaku Aqua
  3. We recommend just going with Chillet and Quivern as they are both level 11 and level 23 respectively. If you’ve fought Chillet for the Ancient Technology Points, then half the work is already done.
  4. Once you’ve crossbred any of the aforementioned Pals, they’ll produce a Huge Rocky Egg. Place the egg in the Incubator and wait for it to hatch.

As a bonus step, once the egg hatches and you finally get your Anubis, keep it in your party if you want it to level up fast.

Anubis is also handy in combat as it can dodge well and will even apply Ground damage to your attacks. All that’s left is to level it to 50 so it can take on the wild Anubis boss.
