Pamela Anderson’s Sons Encouraged Her To Tell Her Story
Pamela Anderson is grateful to her sons for pushing her to tell her story as it happened. The story told in a new documentary and memoir will be out on January 31. In them, the model shares her life story in her own words. Pamela’s story is her response to the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, which portrayed her love affair and marriage to rocker Tommy Lee.
The series also touched on the theft of their sex tape, but Pamela didn’t say a word then. The media personality also disclosed in an interview and an excerpt of her memoir that it was her two sons, Brandon and Dylan, who “encouraged me to tell my story.”
Pamela further revealed that her sons were impressed by her honesty and how she wrote her book herself. Brandon and Dylan initially asked her to get help, but she insisted on doing it her way.
“I just wanted there to be a true, authentic, real record of my life,” she adds. “I really felt like it was very, very important for me to write it all down, from beginning to end,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Pamela believes that finally giving an authentic record of her life set her on the path to healing.
“I had no idea how much anger I had inside,” the actress told People. She shared that recollecting her past uncovered deep emotions and proved therapeutic for her and her mother.
“I’m so happy to share it and hopefully people will be inspired,” she said.
The 55-year-old claimed that her anger could have come from the secrets she had suppressed all her life. Moreover, several stories were written about her that was not true, and telling her story felt empowering.
Pamela added that waiting for the memoir, Love Pamela, to come out makes her anxious because it’s about all her life.
However, she is proud because she did it all alone. Moreover, the memoir talks about her experiences as a “small-town girl” in Los Angeles and the “crazy” and “wild” adventures she had.
It is good that Pamela Anderson finally tells her story in her own words. Hopefully, the media personality experiences the healing she needs, and her book encourages its readers.
