If you’re a parent, then chances are that one of your greatest fears is to lose one of your children in a crowd of people. Even if that place happens to be The Happiest Place on Earth, you should still keep an eye on your kid. One Reddit user posted a video of the main mouse spotting a lone child, scolding his parents for letting him run astray.
Reddit user Gato1980 posted a video taken at Disneyland, California. The park is decorated for Halloween, and even Mickey Mouse is dressed for the occasion. As he walks along the streets of the amusement park with cast members at his side, a child accidentally bumps into him. Mickey searches for the child’s parents, concerned for his safety.
When the boy’s parents make themselves known, Mickey seemingly punishes the father for using his cell phone instead of keeping a hand on his child. Cast members in costume can’t speak aloud, so this was all mimed through the suit.
As the mouse walks away, he continues to express his disappointment at the father for letting a child run around in such a crowded place. What makes the situation funny is exactly how Mickey approached it.
Fortunately, nothing happened to the child in question, and he was back with his parents by the end of the video. However, he let go just after Mickey had his father hold onto him. So, I wonder if the father simply disregarded what Mickey told him.
He seemed more interested in capturing the vacation on his phone than watching out for his son. Personally, I get it with how high the prices of admission are, but there is no way that he doesn’t acknowledge how dangerous that could be.
