Paris, who is Michael Jackson’s only daughter expressed grievances at how the world now measured her love and affection for her dad through birthday posts on social media. She cited instances of fans asking her to take her own life just for her failure to post. Finally succumbing to the pressure, Paris shared a video tribute to the legend. The video featured her on stage at the Loas Colonias Park Amphitheatre, Colorado on Tuesday. After announcing her dad’s birthday eliciting cheers from the audience, she quipped,
“He would have been 65 years old today, and he put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love and passion into doing what he did, so that I can stand up here on stage in front of you and scream into a microphone. So, I owe everything to him.โ
Having shared the beautiful clip, Paris urged fans to honor Michael Jackson’s birthday via other means. She suggested donating to causes he showed interest in during his lifetime. Her witty approach to the tribute left fans singing her praise. Throughout her lengthy speech, Paris busied herself with styling her hair into a rough bun, revealing her hairy armpit in the process. Some trolls opted to look past the sweet words and throw daggers at her for showing armpit hair. A comment on the post read,

Paris is now firing back with no reservations. Taking to X, formerly called Twitter, the 25-year-old addressed the trolls bashing her for having visible hair in her armpit. Without mincing words, Paris Jackson let critics know her gestures in the birthday tribute to Michael Jackson had nothing to do with her intentionally showing unshaven armpit hair. She wrote,
“I wasn’t tying my hair up to show off my armpit hair. I’ve not shaved it for years and forget it’s there all the time. Get over yourselves. I was pulling my hair up to show my glass cutting jawline.”
She also slammed a critic on Instagram, who claimed having armpit hair brought her cleanliness into question, feeding them their own words. Good to see Paris Jackson holding up impressively despite the painful memories Michael’s birthday provokes each year for her and her siblings.
