Parks and Rec star Natalie Morales has been cast in The Morning Show season 3, as reported by Variety. She will be in a recurring role as Kate Danton. The character will be the best friend of Stella (Greta Lee) from Stanford, and were together on a start-up with Paul Marks (Jon Hamm).
The addition of Natalie Morales for The Morning Show is one of the several additions for the third season of the Apple TV+ drama that looks behind the scenes of an American morning show. New cast members include Hamm, Nicole Beharie, Tig Notaro, and Stephen Fry. Julianna Marguiles will reprise her role from season 2. They will join Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon, Lee, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin, Marcia Gay Harden, Ruairi O’Connor, Hasan Minhaj, Holland Taylor, Tara Karsian, and Valeria Golino.

The star was best known for playing Lucy Santo Domingo in the comedy with Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, and Nick Offerman. She also starred in White Collar, Girls, BoJack Horseman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Santa Clarita Diet, Dead to Me, and Plan B.
The Morning Show season 3 is a part of a hefty schedule for Natalie Morales. On November 4, she will be seen in the sci-fi comedy I’m Totally Fine. She will continue her sci-fi road with Anthony Mackie next year with If You Were the Last. She will be in the star-studded comedy No Hard Feelings with The Bear‘s Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Jennifer Lawrence, and Matthew Broderick, which is slated for a June 16, 2023 release.
