Patrick Mahomes doesn’t want more kids after his third child arrives. Recall that on July 12, the NFL star and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, took to Instagram to announce they were expecting another family addition. In a joint post, the couple shared a reel showing sweet moments from a photoshoot with their two kids, Sterling and Bronze. “Round three, here we come🤍,” they captioned the video set to Bruno Mars’s song Count on Me. Four days later, Patrick joked that the arrival of his third child would close the chapter of babymaking.
“I’m done. I’ll say that. I said three and I’m done,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback said while speaking to reporters at a training camp press conference.
Although Patrick Mahomes said he didn’t want more kids, he admitted that fatherhood had been an incredible experience. According to the 28-year-old, growing up in the locker room made him want to have kids at a young age. “I think I’ve talked about it before — it made such an impact in my life, so I wanted to have kids young,” Patrick said. The NFL star also added that Brittany was doing a great job as a wife and a mother. Patrick Mahomes said that despite expecting his third child, he and his wife still enjoyed outings and let their kids see “these great things.” He added that even though they might not remember, there would be clips of their adventures together.
“It’s really cool ’cause I spend so much time in the building of football for these eight, seven months, and whenever I’m with my family, I wanna enjoy those moments,” he said.
Speaking of spending time together, Patrick and Brittany recently spent several weeks of their summer traveling around Europe with their kids. The family’s vacation coincided with the NFL off-season, allowing the Mahomes to spend quality time abroad. The family of four had a fantastic experience, enjoying stops in Portugal, Italy, and more. Hopefully, Patrick Mahomes, his wife, and their adorable kids will enjoy more beautiful experiences and share more lovely memories together.
