A Pennsylvania student has accused her university of alleged racist treatment, claiming she was discriminated against, threatened, called names, and had her personal information shared online. The alleged incidents took place at Gwynedd Mercy University in Philadelphia. She shared the video to raise awareness, though she did not identify those responsible, despite saying she has evidence. The video has since received more than 90,000 views and thousands of likes.
The Pennsylvania student begins the video with an accusation, stating, “The people here are disrespectful and racist as [expletive].” She goes on to claim that for the past two months, since attending the university, she has been treated horribly. She describes this treatment as being “harassed, discriminized for my race and culture.” Part of her claims is that she was called vulgar names and had her information shared without her consent. She doesn’t specify who shared her information. However, she alleges that her name and personal school information were posted on an app.
She claims she has screenshots and recordings of the mistreatment, though she doesn’t show this in the video. Additionally, she states that she took this evidence to the chairman of the university, and allegedly, nothing was done about it. The Pennsylvania student maintains that she’s being unfairly treated. She states, “It’s me against all of these other caucasian people that I feel threatened by.” Furthermore, she alleges that they have moved her off campus “for no reason” and removed from a club leadership role.
