A woman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, had to clean up her car right after someone broke into it. Distressed, she had to deal with a man who decided to hit on her at what is arguably the worst timing possible.
Jasmine, also known as stargurljazz__, shared the bizarre string of events on TikTok. She often shares selfie videos, photos, and other lifestyle content online. This time around, her experience quickly gained traction, with the clip attached above becoming her biggest one to date. In a day, it garnered 2.7 million views, 568,000 likes, and more than 15,700 comments.
The Pennsylvania woman, who described herself as already in distress, was cleaning up her car. While it happened off camera, Jasmine said that someone had broken into her vehicle and stole some pads, cents, and even her coat.
Randomly Called A Supermodel
As Jasmine was going through the remainder of her items still in her car, a man approached her and started talking to her. He asked, “You know there’s no supermodels allowed in this area, right?” The man intended to call Jasmine a supermodel, but she just responded, “What?” He then repeated himself, slowly, “No supermodels allowed in this area.”
“What does that mean?” she asked. The man explained he was complimenting her, but decided to walk away. According to him, he was only an “average” man judging by Jasmine’s standards, which were never established.
“I’m gonna keep moving, young goddess,” the man said as he left.
Confused, Jasmine just kept checking on the break-in aftermath.
Reactions
The video sparked various responses, mostly from viewers who mocked the man’s flirting attempt. One said, “That’s like the corniest shi ever. Do they think this is a movie?” Another one commented, “He definitely says grand rising.”
Others, potentially those fed up with unsolicited street compliments, bashed the man. One wrote, “I hate him so [expletive] much.” Another one added, “He has a nerve to get irritated as if you owe him anything, eww.”
Hopefully, the Pennsylvania woman will find a replacement for her coat. The man, meanwhile, better keep his comments to himself moving forward.
