In the video, a bug is visible on the edge of the young woman’s plate. She asks the server, “Can we get the check? Also, there’s a -” She trails off as she points out the bug, before moving the plate closer to the server. The Florida woman explains, “I don’t want to cause a scene.” In the comments, her mother explains that she has social anxiety and that asking for the check was her daughter’s way out of the situation. She says, “My daughter has never been in that situation before… & didn’t want to cause a scene.”
After what was seen on camera, the Florida mother allegedly handled the matter with the manager. She explains, “We walked out… After telling them politely that I was not paying for it.” Allegedly, the restaurant has had similar issues in the past and has a 3.7 rating online. The video has been viewed over 783,000 times and has nearly 9,000 likes.

People are freaking out over the alleged bug find, and are claiming that situations like this are why they avoid eating out.
