In this category, many videos, especially of women, show their lives living with a couple. Fortunately, as well as these people, an influencer from the UK made an experiment on TikTok to show her husband whether he helps or uses weaponized incompetence. Sadly, in many couples, one partner does not provide equal help in the household chores.
The video’s author, chrissy.j.xx, explained on her TikTok that she had spent all morning cleaning her house and was exhausted. So, her husband said he would clean the bathroom while Chrissy went out to the park with her kids. But before leaving, this woman decided to test if her husband would keep his word to clean the bathroom by putting glitter in strategic places. If the husband cleaned up, the glitter would be there when she returned. The UK influencer added that it’s not that she doubted her husband out of the blue but that he has tendencies of weaponized incompetence. He had claimed to do something in the past, but it turned out to be a lie.

We do not know how much the husband’s behaviors affect their relationship, nor do we know the whole story. However, there are many relationships in which one person leaves all the job to their partner. In the comments, several users angrily responded to Chrissy because her “childish” test, that she treats her husband like a child, or that people “choose bad partners.”
I’m not defending either one. But if I gotta do this to make sure my partner is cleaning, there’s a whole lot of problems in that situation that needs to be addressed on both sides.

The worst thing is that chrissy.j.xx shared in another TikTok that when she returned from the park, the glitter was intact where she had left it. In the end, she had to clean the bathroom.
