Atlus is bringing Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth to North America and Europe later this year, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. The title will feature characters from Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5. Persona Q2 will release on June 4, 2019, in the west.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is a direct sequel to Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth and plans to crossover all of the most popular Persona titles in one cute chibi package. The upcoming title features the same kind of gameplay as the original; first-person dungeon crawling, but this time it will deal with movie-themed dungeons related to classic films.

The announcement of Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth comes with the reveal of the collector’s edition affectionately titled the “Showtime Premium Edition.” This version of the game comes with a Koromaru plushy, an art book, four pins with the main protagonists from the game and a deck of playing cards featuring the characters from the Persona series. To obtain all of these extra goodies, buyers will have to spend $69.99 on the Showtime Premium Edition. The base game will cost $39.99 for comparison.

Finally, it may disappoint some fans to know that the game will not feature an English dub. Persona Q2 will only have Japanese voice over with English subtitles for the release in the west. An Atlus representative told IGN that there are no plans to add English voice overs in the future stating:

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth’s localized release will be available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS with a Japanese voice track and English subtitles. There are no plans to add an English dub to the game at this time.

Are you going to pick up Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth when it comes to the U.S? Which version are you planning on getting? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think!
