Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian’s relationship is over, but the star comedian got fans talking on their dynamics again. Pete Davidson’s Emmy awards appearance caused quite a stir and reminded fans of another time. He made an appearance at the 2022 Emmys to present an award.
Davidson was dressed in a gray Dickies “Eisenhower” jacket, with matching gray pants and white sunglasses, as he presented the award for Best Comedy Series.
The outfit has since sparked reactions from the public as the whole ensemble was similar to an outfit his ex-girlfriend’s ex-husband, Kanye West had previously worn.
The 45-year-old rapper, Kanye, had previously worn the same jacket that Davidson wore in color black. West had accompanied his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, dressed in the jacket to the “Camp” themed Met Gala in 2019.
Per Page Six, the 28-year-old SNL star, Davidson, also styled the outfit with his hair dyed blonde. This color raised people’s eyebrows as he and his now ex-girlfriend had previously matched with the same hair color.
Shortly after the pair’s breakup, Davidson dyed his hair back to brunette, but he was seen with blonde hair at the Emmys award. The public has been trying to figure out what inspired Davidson to dress like that.

After the pair’s breakup, inside sources confirmed that the couple had split peacefully. More than a month after their split, Kardashian had expressed her feelings for Davidson in a conversation with Interview Magazine.
She commented that Davidson is “a cutie.” She continued by saying that “He’s literally such a good person…” The duo was first linked together, when they kissed during a scene on Kardashian’s SNL hosting debut in October 2021.
They were photographed on some occasions before Davidson confirmed they were dating in February 2022. The pair split up in August, after nine months of dating. According to inside sources, one of the reasons for their split was due to “busy schedules.”
Kardashian’s relationship with Davidson had been spontaneous. During an episode of The Kardashians first season on Hulu, The SKIMS founder explained how everything happened with Davidson.
Per People, she revealed that after the fact that the pair had kissed at her SNL hosting debut, she had decided to reach out to him, as she felt the “vibe.” She continued by revealing that she was not expecting a relationship, as she just wanted to have a sexual relationship with him.
Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian had quite a headlining relationship, and although the pair are no longer ran item, there seems to be no animosity between them. This could be a cue pointing at a possible reconciliation in the future.
