Get ready for Atlanta’s sweetest peaches. Phaedra Parks says her epic return on Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be one worth watching.
Many fans remember Phaedra as the shady fashionista who was let go from RHOA after Season 9. Since then, she’s rejoined the network, and her career has taken off. The lawyer and mother of two appeared in Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She also had leading roles in The Traitors and Married To Medicine.
But now, the time has come for her grand return to the Housewives mainstage. So, what did she have to say about her comeback?
Phaedra Parks Teases Season 16 of RHOA Will Be ‘Awesome’
When speaking with The Post about filming Atlanta’s Sweet 16, Phaedra teased that there will be plenty going on. “It’s going to be very good,” she said. “The new housewives are definitely spicy. It’s going to be delicious, gumbo with a lot of spice.”
In another interview with E! News, Phaedra told reporters that returning to the Housewives franchise was more than worth it. “It went absolutely awesome,” she said. “I felt like I was back at home.”
One of the main reasons the Dancing With the Stars contestant felt comfortable was because of her co-star, Porsha Williams. Porsha departed the series in 2021. In 2024, she announced her big return.
Phaedra said that being alongside Porsha was like the good ‘ole days. “When Frick and Frack is back, honey, it’s gonna be some fun,” she said.
Porsha and Phaedra aren’t the only cast changes, though. Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss let viewers know they wouldn’t return for Season 16 in 2024. However, Phaedra seems unmoved by the decision.
“Sometimes, when the shows have the same cast for so long, people are not being their true selves,” she said. “So, now, I think bringing back some new energy, it’s gonna shake it up but in a good way. In a positive way.”
