Lately, we’ve seen a lot of sad things involving cops, but that doesn’t mean they are all bad. Once in a while, we get some fun situations where these LEOs engage in some friendly banter with citizens. One of these cases happened not long ago in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where a police officer spotted a Dallas Cowboys fan in the street and decided to troll him. It was a truly hilarious interaction that shows that some cops out there can still engage in some lighthearted fun with the community.
In the video, you can see the Dallas Cowboys fan approaching the Philadelphia police officer and flexing at him. However, the cop grabs his megaphone and tells the fan, “Take that jersey and take your butt somewhere else.” The Dallas Cowboys fan walks away while still flexing, but that doesn’t stop the police officer, who continues trolling the man by saying, “When was the last time you won a Super Bowl?” Referring to the fact that the Cowboys haven’t won since 1996, which is a pretty long time.
Other citizens around the area laugh at the situation, and the fan also seems to take it well, as everyone is just having some fun after last night’s match, which took place at the Lincoln Financial Field. If you didn’t know, it was the first game of the season, and the Eagles beat the Cowboys by four points, which just adds more fuel to the harmless fire that this cop lit up after the match.
Fortunately, many internet users saw this as a wholesome interaction and even a hilarious one, especially coming from the police officer.
“The ONLY acceptable behavior from police ๐.” Commented one user.
“The only kind of police brutality we accept.” Said another user.
Since the season has officially kicked off, we’ll likely see more situations like this one. Sometimes, football matches tend to escalate due to fans fighting, so we only hope for those involved to have some sense of sportsmanship and humor when dealing with a team’s loss or win, and follow this police officer’s example, which was hilarious.
