Become the King of the Arcade
Welcome to King of the Arcade, Super Villain Games’ variety package of titles essentially put into one large adventure. Players will assume the role of Mac McCormick, “the best natural video game player that ever lived”. However, hard times have clouded over Mac McCormick for quite some time now, with Jimmy Joysticks taking control of operations at Castle’s Arcade. Before it’s ultimately placed in the wrong hands, Mac will need to defeat some opponents for the sake of the arcade.
You’re probably wondering what kind of arcade games will be a part of the King of the Arcade experience on Xbox? All you need to do is have a general idea of what an 80s arcade included. Pretty much you can expect RPGs, adventures, racing, platformer, shooter, music, and everything in between to appear.
The Official Trailer for King of the Arcade is attached above, and it provides a nice overview of the games. You’ll also get a decent perspective into the crisis that occurs at Castle’s Arcade.
King of the Arcade will be launching on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles this April 12, 2023, for $7.99. If you pre-order the title now, you’ll receive a 10% discount before the launch date. The deal will close on April 11, the day before the King of the Arcade steps up to the gaming plate.
