If you want to get a PlayStation Classic, you better pre-order it fast. Sony has announced that the upcoming mini console will be available in stores on December 3rd. The console costs $99 and it has 20 games, 2 controllers and it also includes options for HDMI compatibility and a USB cable.
It of course, also includes an instruction manual for those new to Sony or the original PlayStation model. The release date for the original PlayStation was all the way back on September 9, 1995. It was then discontinued on March 23, 2006. This was six years after the release of the PlayStation 2.
There are three major retailers who have it available for preorder now. All of your paper can be used to reserve yourself a piece of history when it comes out. The PlayStation Classic is now available for preorder at Best Buy and GameStop.

As I mentioned prior, the PlayStation Classic comes with 20 preinstalled games. However, we only really know of five of the games that will be included. I’ve played a couple of these games myself and you can’t get more classic than these titles.
Those titles include Final Fantasy VII, Wild Arms, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Tekken 3. Hopefully they will announce more titles soon. But for now, we can just bite our fingernails and hope for Metal Gear Solid and Rayman.
Unfortunately, a USB AC adapter isn’t included with the PlayStation Classic. Luckily, there are plenty of options to connect to USB power when you need it. Lots of televisions today have the option to connect a USB with their USB port.
So, if you’re planning on preordering a PlayStation Classic, you better do it fast! The mini console sold out at Target as this article was being published. This will be updated regularly until it’s completely sold out.
