Since PlayStation Plus changed its model last year, the subscription service has started offering games in three different plans. The two plans have game libraries similar to Xbox Game Pass, while the Essential plan offers a monthly lineup of titles that rotates. The lineup is only available for a 30-day window, though users get to keep access for as long as their subscription remains active. We’ve seen some quality titles in recent months, and July’s PlayStation Plus games look set to prove no exception if recent leaked titles are to be believed.
PlayStation Plus Essential July Monthly Games Featuring AAA Titles
According to leaked data from reliable Dealabs user billbil-kun, the PlayStation Plus July games will include Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling: Extinction Is Forever. Those games will go live on July 2, so you won’t see them on official PS Plus pages until the day. To be fair, we’re glad to see those titles because there are both online and story masterpieces here. Even though Modern Warfare 2 and Vanguard are on the scene, Cold War is still one of the most played online games. Alan Wake Remastered and Endling: Extinction Is Forever are two games that aren’t below Cold War‘s quality. This should be the second best news PlayStation users heard this week; the first one was The Callisto Protocol’s exclusive DLC.
The monthly games are looking good, but there’s also bad news. The games listed below are leaving PS Plus Game Catalog, which is accessible on Extra and Premium tiers.
- Saints Row Gat out of Hell
- Stray
- Rogue Stormers
- Marvel Avengers Definitive Edition
- BioShock Remastered
- BioShock 2 Remastered
- BioShock Infinite The Complete Edition
- Borderlands The Handsome Collection
- Fluster Cluck
- Raiden V Director’s Cut
Sony seems to make this summer unforgettable for gamers because the additions are mostly qualified and must-play games; we hope that it continues just like that in the further months. In general, those leaked PlayStation Plus games are coming out true. But it’s always best to keep expectations balanced and don’t trust them hundred percent. The official announcement should arrive on their blog in a few days.
