The PlayStation Plus games for August 2021 were announced… but it might have been a little ahead of schedule. The games for August appeared on the PlayStation Plus site, but the post was quickly removed afterward. If the post is to be believed, these are the free games for next month.
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
“Grab your peashooter and embrace mayhem of the battlefield in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, as the tension expands beyond Neighborville into new social and free-roam regions on the outer reaches of the contested township.”
Tennis World Tour 2
According to the PlayStation Plus games description, “Experience the true sensations of court in Tennis World Tour 2. Dominate the sport and ascend the world rankings as one of the world’s top players, or create your own athlete to challenge your friends locally or online.”
Hunter’s Arena: Legends
“Dive into the mystical world of Hunter’s Arena! Become a Hunter and fight against demons as well as each other to survive in the dangerous age of ancient demons. Hunt or be hunted, this is Hunter’s Arena!”
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2 is the PlayStation Plus games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but Hunter’s Arena: Legends is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5. The last game will be coming to PlayStation 4 as well, but this is a bonus for PS5 users for August.
As of this writing, the PlayStation Plus games for July, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds, are still available. August’s games should be available on August 3rd, but an official announcement should be made soon.
