The new Final Fantasy PlayStation State of Play for 2023 is live right now, and we got to see some incredible new details regarding FFXVI; FF16 is gearing up for its release date with new colossal beasts and incredible ventures, with Clive at the forefront of all of it. World-building is pretty next-level in the upcoming Final Fantasy 16.
FF16 Gameplay – Everything We Know
New FF16 gameplay was revealed today in the PlayStation State of Play. The shining point of the game is pretty much the Eikon battles. Players can now engage against gigantic Eikons in real-time, letting players control Clive and other Eikon summons in Eikon vs Eikon battles. Each showdown is pretty much unique, depending on the Eikon you’re using. Imagine CGI-esque real-time boss battles and side-scroller shooting scenarios in FFXVI as showcased in today’s PlayStation State of Play.
Massive scale boss-battles are pretty much seamless. Players can’t wait to get their hands on FFXVI. Today, we got to see Titan Lose and Bahamut in action, and the gameplay was no short of incredible. Fans can’t wait for FF16.
Earlier, Square Enix revealed that FF16 was completed well before schedule. The game still has a few m months before it’s officially released into the wild. The upcoming Final Fantasy game will grace our glorious gaming screens on June 22, 2023.
For the time being, Square Enix has planned FF16 as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. As per tradition, the game will stay as a PS-only exclusive for at least a year before it makes its way to PC. And as always, it won’t make it to the Xbox Series Lineup.
