Cherubi is an adorable Grass-type Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that evolves into Cherrim once certain conditions are met. Cherubi’s Sp. Atk is notably the highest of its base stats, and with its Chlorophyll Ability, Cherubi’s Speed is buffed when the Pokémon is under sunshine. To catch this Pokémon in Pokémon BDSP, players can find it via a Honey Tree in multiple locations, albeit at a low encounter rate. Alternatively, trainers can encounter Cherubi in any Grassland Cave or the Sunlit Cavern. If it doesn’t appear when entering one of these areas, simply exit and reenter the zone until Cherubi spawns.

How to Evolve Cherubi in Pokémon BDSP

Pokémon BDSP Evolve Cherubi

Once players have caught Cherubi, they can evolve it to Cherubi in Pokémon BDSP by leveling the Pokémon to 25. Once Cherubi reaches 25, it will transform into Cherubi. However, if players have caught a wild Cherubi already at Level 25 or higher, the Cherubi will evolve after attaining the next level in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.

Reaching a certain level is a common way for several Pokémon to evolve in Pokémon BDSP, such as Swablu or Shieldon. One of the best methods to power level Pokémon is equipping them with a Lucky Egg, a rare item that increases the XP gained from battles by 1.5x. Lucky Eggs aren’t easy to find in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, yet one location that trainers are guaranteed to find one is in the Great Underground. More specifically, travel to Acuity Lakefront, and head to the northeast room on the map. Entering Icy Cave, walk to the center of the area to find a Lucky Egg.

Another useful method of leveling in Pokémon BDSP to evolve Cherubi is battling the Pokémon in Hideaways. The Pokémon spawning in Hideaways scale to the level of the trainer’s party, making their encounters worthwhile for XP gain.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl are available on Nintendo Switch.
