How to Evolve Kadabra in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl
So, you have Kadabra. This Pokémon has some strong stats. However, if you want the even more powerful Alakazam, you need to evolve Kadabra.
On one hand, it’s a good thing that you don’t have to worry about its level. There’s no minimum required, so there’s no worry about ensuring you take Kadabra with you on every battle unless you want to. On the other hand, you need another trainer if you want to evolve Kadabra in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl. This means it’s time to find a friend that plays the game.
You have to trade your Kadabra with another trainer, and you can trade for any Pokémon as it doesn’t matter. Once you make the trade, Kadabra will automatically evolve into Alakazam. From there, just trade back.
To make a trade, head to any Pokémon Center and go to the second floor. In the Union Room, you can trade with players nearby or anywhere else in the world.
How to Locate Kadabra
If you haven’t evolved an Abra into Kadabra, then you need to find the latter Pokémon to get Alakazam.
When out exploring the region, you can find Kadabra in caves or tall grass. Search in the following locations:
- Road 215 (rare)
- Victory Road 2F (uncommon)
Additionally, you can head to the Grand Underground and explore the following areas:
- Dazzling Cave (Defog)
- Stargleam Cavern (Defog)
It’s nice to play with friends, especially when they help you evolve Kadabra in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl. Just do a quick trade with a trusted trainer, evolve Kadabra into Alakazam, and then trade it back. Then, you can explore the game with the classic Pokémon.
