Sneasel is a Dark and Ice-type Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that players can find in the snowier areas of the Sinnoh region. The best place to encounter one is in the Snowpoint Temple, where it has a spawn chance of 35%. On the other hand, Pokémon BDSP fans can also discover Sneasel on Route 216, Route 217, and around Lake Acuity, albeit at a lower rate. Additionally, Sneasel will occasionally appear randomly in the icy and glacial caverns of the Grand Underground. Once players have successfully captured Sneasel in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, they can evolve it into Weavile.

To evolve Sneasel into Weavile in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, players will need a Razor Claw. Razor Claws can be purchased from the Battle Tower for 5 BP. They can also be found on Route 224 and Victory Road. Give the claw to Sneasel and then level it up at night to evolve.

While buying a Razor Claw from the Battle Tower is the easiest way to evolve Sneasel in Pokémon BDSP, obtaining access to Battle Park requires quite some effort. To enter Battle Park, players will need to unlock the National Dex. This upgrade is provided by Professor Oak once players have “seen” all 150 Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. After fulfilling this requirement, head to Snowpoint City, located at the top of the world map. Walk to the docks and speak to the sailor NPC. As a result, players will be able to ride the boat to Battle Park, granting them access to the tower.

When trying to evolve Sneasel in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, players must keep in mind that the level-up must take place between 8 PM and 3:59 AM in local time. If Sneasel levels at any other time during the day, it will not successfully change into Weavile.
