Where to Find Absol in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl
Learning where to find Absol in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl requires looking in a few different spots. But the first thing you want to do is finish the game. This is the only way you can unlock the National Dex. So, locating Absol will only occur in the post-game content. From there, you have two options: go to the Grand Underground or hit up the Swarm.
Within the Grand Underground, you want to check six locations:
- Big Bluff Cavern
- Dazzling Cave
- Grassland Cave
- Spacious Cave
- Stargleam Cavern
- Sunlit Cavern
If you want to take a different approach, you can also find Absol in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl via the Swarm. Otherwise known as the Massive Outbreak. This Swarm occurs on Route 213. Before you can head there, you have to learn about it. To do this, speak to Lucas or Dawn in Sandgem. Once they introduce you to their little sister, she will tell you about the Swarms.
From there, you will be able to find Absol in a Swarm on the previously stated Route.
