Niantic made four significant changes to the Remote raid passes, Pricing adjustments, Remote Raid participation limits, Remote Riad passes as a reward, and Candy XL Rewards in 5-star attacks.
- Pricing adjustments: The Remote raid passes three-pack has increased to 525 PokéCoins, while the single Raid pass will cost 195 PokéCoins. Premium Battle Pass three-pack will be in the shop for 1250 PokéCoins
- Remote Raid participation limits: One trainer can participate in only five raids per day, and this number may change in special events.
- Remote raid passes as a reward: Research Breakthroughs will include remote attack passe as potential rewards and still be subjected to a maximum of three episode passes for a trainer. If a trainer wins a remote raid pass while holding three of them, they will receive Premium Battle Pass instead.
- Candy XL Rewards in 5-star raids: Candy XL Rewards in 5-star attacks will be increased.
These are the significant changes in the Remote Raid Pass update in Pokemon Go. However, most of the players were not happy about the changes in the prices of the Remote Raid Passes, and some players have even said they will stop buying Remote Raid Passes due to the price hike.
