Featuring Poison-type and Dragon-type Pokemon fromย Pokemonย Goย Fest 2023: New York City, the Noxious Swamp Event will run from August 19 to August 22. In particular, this event is the perfect opportunity to find and catch Shiny Skrelp inย Pokemon Go and evolve it into Shiny Dragalge. Noxious Swamp will also feature plenty of other Shiny pocket monsters, One toย Three-Star Raids, special Field Research Tasks, Event Bonuses, and even a free Timed Research questline. Completing this Timed Research will reward you with Poison-type and Dragon-type Pokemon, including the rare Jangmo-o inย Pokemon Go!

How To Get Shiny Skrelp in Pokemon Go

If you’re solely interested in getting Shiny Skrelp and its Shiny Dragalge evolution inย Pokemon Go, you have two options:

  • Wild Encounters
  • Field Research Task Encounters

In other words, waiting in place, walking around, or spinning PokeStops for Field Research all grants you a chance of encountering Shiny Skrelp inย Pokemon Go. Accordingly, there’s no need to go out of your way to get this Mock Kelp Pokemon during the Noxious Swamp Event. To evolve Shiny Skrelp into Shiny Dragalge, you’ll need 50 Candy, an amount you’ll undoubtedly be able to gather during the event.

As mentioned above, you can participate in a free Timed Research questline focused on Raiding. Clearing the various quests will reward you with Poison- and Dragon-type Pokemon, including Jangmo-o. Note that this Timed Research will end on August 22, the day the event ends.
