Dusclops is a Ghost-type Pokemon first introduced in Generation III in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Duskull evolves into Dusclops, who then evolves into Dusknoir. While Duskull evolves into Dusclops starting at level 37, evolving Dusclops requires a different method. This guide will teach you how to evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
How to Evolve Dusclops in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
If you do not already have Dusclops, there are multiple locations you can encounter the Pokemon. These areas include the following:
- Avalanche Slopes in Alabaster Icelands
- Arena’s Approach in Alabaster Icelands
- Deadwood Haunt in Cobalt Coastlands
- Rarely appears during Space-Time Distortions in Celestica Ruins in Coronet Highlands
- Rarely appears during Space-Time Distortions in the Sacred Plaza in Coronet Highlands
To evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir, you must use a Reaper Cloth. If you already have Reaper Cloth in your inventory, you will find it in your Everyday Items. Upon selecting it in your item list, select use and choose Dusclops. Doing so will trigger the evolution animation, evolving Dusclops into Dusknoir.

If you do not already have Reaper Cloth, you can find it as a rare drop in Space-Time Distortions or purchase it from Simona for Merit Points. Simona is near an item stall on Floaro Main Street in Jubilife Village. On the map, you will find this spot just above the Craftworks. One Reaper Cloth will cost you 1,400 MP.
You can also catch Dusknoir in the wild if you don’t wish to buy or farm for Reaper Cloth. You may encounter an Alpha Dusknoir in Deadwood Haunt in Cobalt Coastlands. Additionally, Dusknoir rarely appears in Celestica Ruins and Sacred Plaza in Coronet Highlands during Space-Time Distortions.
