This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Sticky Glob is a throwable item in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that can stun Wild Pokémon upon impact, creating an opening for Trainers to dispatch a follow Poké Ball for a capture. When stunned, a wild pocket monster will become immobile and will not react to the player protagonist’s movement. As a result, Trainers can use this moment to slip past a monster too dangerous for confrontation or easily catch a creature without engaging in combat. Accordingly, having several Sticky Globs on hand while exploring the lands of the Hisui region will doubtless come in handy when catching certain pocket monsters.

Crafting Sticky Glob in Pokemon Legends Arceus

There are three primary ways to get Sticky Globs in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The first is by purchasing them for ₽800 each at Choy’s General Store. However, this particular item type does not become available until players have completed the necessary requests to expand the offerings at Choy’s shop.

₽800 is a hefty investment for a single throwable, especially for those in the early to mid-game portion of a playthrough. Therefore, crafting Sticky Globs might be a cheaper and more accessible option for newer Trainers in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Players can craft Sticky Globs with a Ball of Mud, a Spoiled Apricorn, and a Caster Fern. Keep in mind that the recipe for the throwable must first be purchased from Anvin for ₽20,000, a massive investment but worthwhile for the increased Pokémon catch potential.

Caster Fern can be procured from Anvin for ₽140 a fern, while Balls of Mud and Spoiled Apricorns can only be acquired in the open world of Hisui. These crafting materials cannot be found directly but instead can be obtained by catching specific types of pocket monsters. For instance, if players travel to the Crimson Mirelands, they can find members of the Hippopotas family that drop Balls of Mud. Likewise, those in the Murkow family can drop Spoiled Apricorns. Trainers are encouraged to check their Pokédex to see which pocket monsters can be farmed for these two items. Finally, as noted above, there is a third way to get Sticky Globs in Pokémon Legends: Arceus via random chests scattered about the Coronet Highlands. However, this method is less reliable than the first two.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available on Nintendo Switch.
