If you are looking to get yourself a Shiny Cleafairy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, then now is the perfect chance. From September 28 to October 1, the mainline installment of the beloved franchise is hosting the Harvest Moon event. The event is directly tied to Clefairy lore and features the mass outbreak of this fairy-type Pokemon. Although the Shiny Clefairy numbers won’t increase in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and the grind remains the same, you will have a big chance to encounter one or a few if you are lucky enough. Here are all the details you need to know about the Harvest Moon Festival in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Typically, Clefairy resides exclusively in the Kitakami region. However, this Pokemon will temporarily appear in Paldea during the Harvest Moon Festival event. This means you can still encounter it even if you don’t have The Teal Mask DLC with access to Kitakami.

The Clefairy Harvest Moon Mass Outbreak is happening simultaneously in both the Paldea region and Kitakami Island. Clefairy can be found with levels ranging from 10 to 60 in the game. Keep an eye on your in-game map, as mass outbreaks will be clearly marked, making it convenient to locate them.

If you have never caught Clefairy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet before, you’ll notice a question mark icon with sparkling effects on your map. However, if you’ve previously captured it in the Kitakami region, you’ll see an image of Clefairy on your map. This is an indication of an ongoing mass outbreak of this Pokemon in the area.

During the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Clefairy Moon Mass Outbreak event, you will not only encounter more of this Pokemon but also receive a 5% boost in your chances of finding the Upbeat Mark. For clarification, Marks are unique symbols and prized possessions among collectors.

If you are looking for a Shiny Clefairy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the following info might be disappointing. The number of Shiny Clefairy spawns won’t increase, unfortunately. However, with a bunch of Clefairy roaming around, there is a better chance of encountering a Shiny. Though you might grind more and battle regular Clefairy a few additional times than you normally would, there is a great prize in the end. You can always increase your odds through Shiny Charms and sandwiches. It’s time to add this Shiny rarity to your collection.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available on Nintendo Switch.
