Many people turn to TikTok for advice on food they’ve cooked. If you ever come across these kinds of videos, you would probably find weird ones. One example of that is a video posted by a Maryland woman who freaked out after she cooked some pork. She posted a video showing how the pork she cooked was filled with holes; there were a lot. She also said that she had never seen anything like this when cooking pork. During the rest of the video, she kept picking up different pieces of the pork and showing how every single one had holes in it. So she definitely had a good reason to worry.
In another video, the Maryland woman revealed that she ended up listening to people’s advice who told her not to eat it. This is why she threw it away. Hopefully, eating the pork won’t have any harmful effects because her husband ate some of it before she threw away what remained. He said it tasted good so this might be a sign that it was safe to eat. It was still a good choice not to risk it.
People Reacting to the Maryland Woman’s Video
People were just as shocked as the Maryland woman at how her pork looked. Many believed that she shouldn’t eat from it, especially since it didn’t look normal. “My family raised pigs and we NEVER had meat that looked like that. I would 1000% NOT eat it,” one woman wrote. Others claimed that the holes were there because the pork had bacteria. “Oh no‼ That was full of bacteria,” one person said. Despite this, some believed that since the pork was cooked, it was safe to eat. “Before it was cooked, yes. He’ll be fine, she cooked the bacteria out of it lol as nasty as that is,” another person wrote. I would still not risk it.
Some commenters decided to find a funny side to the Maryland woman’s video as they believed that something bad would happen to her husband. “Time to start shopping for a new husband,” one person wrote. Another person then asked, “Does he have a good life insurance policy?” Someone else offered serious advice as they said, “Next time have him take a capsule of charcoal. Even though the bacteria is dead the possible toxins are in the meat. Charcoal helps bind the toxins in the gut and then gets eliminated naturally (BM)x.” Hopefully, there won’t be next time.
