Fortniteโ€™s ability to produce exciting original content is remarkable and its continual changes are synonymous with its rise to becoming one of the worldโ€™s most popular games. Since release, both its map and content have undergone a significant evolution, alongside a thrilling story that always leaves players wondering – well whatโ€™s next? Well, YouTuber Tabor Hill might just have some answers for us. In a video titled โ€œFortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Leaksโ€ the YouTuber states that he was contacted by a reliable, yet unknown source detailing a few exciting changes that might be in store for us with the new season.

One of the major changes Tabor Hill discusses is the arrival of a new water-themed map. While the Fortnite map is already littered with rivers, lakes, and a few islands, the upcoming changes suggest even more water content could be on the way. With the potential of entire sections of the map being flooded with water, and no doubt the birth of a lot more islands. In line with this new water-based theme will be a new vehicle in the form of rideable sharks alongside the reveal of an Aquaman superhero skin.

Other notable changes suggest a new flare gun with the inclusion of elemental fire damage, which for example might set builds and houses alight, potential in-game skin changes, and a new customizable umbrella that players can unlock with weekly challenges.

Fortnite Season 3 has a currently scheduled release date of June 4th, but whether these changes will make the release is still questionable. While Tabor Hills discusses his sources habit of providing reliable information in the past, he goes on to highlight that any and all information is not confirmed and will be subject to change. Stating that the leak might even reference changes that will occur as late as Fortnite’s Season 5 or 6. It is difficult to assess the validity of the leak, but seeing the evolution of a water theme in line with Fornite’s ever-changing map isn’t something that’s hard to imagine.

One thing is certain, however, and that is with every big Fortnite seasonal update there will be plenty of new content for players to enjoy. What do you think about the leak? Will you be exited for a more water-focused change to Fortnite? Let us know in the comments below.
