Well, it seems that the “days without strange claims” counter has reset because Trump posted a strange image yesterday. Through Truth Social, Trump posted an image of the Moon with the caption, “Moon is Ours.” With how he’s been trying to rename everything and claim ownership of several places, Americans are now wondering if the President is actually trying to claim the Moon for the country.
The post from Trump’s Truth Social account just has an allegedly AI-generated image with the Moon in the background and the caption, “The Moon Is Ours,” with the US flag next to it.
As you can imagine, like other controversial takes from the President, this image started circulating everywhere. So far, this statement has gone extremely viral to the point that people are criticizing Trump for another eye-rolling statement.
One of the biggest places where this image landed is the r/Law subreddit, which, at least at the time of writing, hasn’t been too kind with the news. Several Redditors are already shaming the President, thinking this is yet another political stunt or something similar to his renaming antics, such as the recent “New America,” “Lake America,” and “Trump Strait” debacles.
Americans Are Getting Tired of Trump’s Antics
While some may believe people get used to situations like this, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The Moon image Trump posted was enough to draw several dissatisfied Americans who shared their thoughts about Trump’s alleged Moon endeavor.
“Ya know, for years people complained about politicians offering the moon and stars. This person actually thinks he can do it. I wonder how he’ll monetize this?“
“My theory is that his last doctor visit didn’t go well and he was told that he’s dying quickly, so he’s trying to claim as much stuff as possible before he dies.“
On the other hand, some Redditors have dismissed this as another empty claim and thrown a few funny remarks at the situation.
