Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship evolves as the couple sparks divorce concerns with fewer public appearances and even rarer PDA moments. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stirred divorce rumors with their latest slew of solo outings and engagements throughout the third quarter of 2024. On his part, the Duke has made solo trips to New York, South Africa, the UK for the WellChild Awards, and most recently, to Canada ahead of the Invictus Games.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle’s latest solo outing saw her dancing with friends at the launch party of her pal and hair colorist Kadi Lee’s new haircare line. She also posed for photos with other partygoers, which notably excluded her husband. Also in attendance was hairstylist Serge Normant, who famously styled Meghan Markle’s hair for her 2018 royal wedding to Prince Harry.
Harry and Meghan’s Romantic Dynamics Change With Evolving Relationship
Sadly, with these reduced joint public appearances comes a decline in Pince Harry and Meghan Markle’s once enviable PDA. Body language expert Judi James has analyzed the couple’s recent relationship deviations, noting it has indeed “evolved from a totally twinned one,” to one resembling the letter “Y.” According to her, this switch towards a union only twinned at the base and separating into two halves thereafter much like the letter “Y” depicts the Sussexes as two individuals moving in “separate professional directions.”
Judi James based her analysis on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s PDA displays, or the lack thereof in their now-rare joint appearances. She explained how Harry and Meghan’s relationhip has always been a love story with a romantic core. Hence, watching the duo branch out alone, lacking their “previously constant love touch” and other PDAs royal watchers enjoy, give the impression of something lost or missing.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Reduced PDA Not a Sign of Impending Divorce
Judi James went on to analyze Prince Harry and Meghan’s rare joint appearance earlier this month in a video message urging the world to prioritize children’s safety in the online space. Citing Meghan’s periodic glances at her husband throughout the video as he spoke, and Harry’s half-hearted effort to put his hand around his wife’s back at the mention of “together,” she noted that these signs may be hinting at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to cut down on PDA in their relationship, a move that could leave fans sad and upset. She divulged,
“The message was clearly one of ongoing bonds and togetherness. But for fans of the Harry and Meghan passionately romantic body language ritual, it was rather thin gruel. It will be sad for their fans if, despite their marriage being enduringly strong and loving, they have made a decision to tone down the PDAs.”
Regardless of the underlying reasons behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s declining PDA moments, Judi noted that they each seemed “happy” and “relaxed” in their respective pursuits. Notably, the body language expert’s claims about the couple is a less brutal explanation for their recent solo appearances than the divorce rumors which continue to run wild. Although neither of the Sussexes have confirmed any of the claims so far, a separation between them at this point would adversely affect their brand, and inherently cripple their big plans for a more kid-friendly world which they hope to achieve with their online safety awareness campaigns.
