With Prince Harry professionally “detaching” himself from his wife, Meghan Markle, there’s talk that The Royal Family is becoming “a little bit more forgiving” towards the wayward ex-royal. Even Prince William, who had his brother banned from the royal fold, is “softening his stance towards Harry.”
With the holidays approaching, Prince Harry has a solid chance to seek reconciliation with his folks back home. There’s even “been some discussion about how he could be integrated back into the family,” according to an insider speaking to Closer. However, one royal family member firmly stands against “Harry making any sort of return, even for a friendly visit” — Queen Camilla.
“[Camilla] She doesn’t want to come face to face with him, let alone show him any kind of forgiveness or mercy. She’s made it clear to everyone around her that she believes he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing and insists he brings nothing but stress and drama to the family. It’s her belief that any interaction King Charles has with him is only going to be bad for his health and for the family as a whole. If Harry does get the invite back to the UK, he’d be wise to stay far away from Camilla.”
Of course, it should be no surprise that Queen Camilla feels this way, seeing how much her wayward stepson badmouthed her family, King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. Not to mention, Harry compared her to a “wicked stepmother.” “Of course it bothers her; of course it hurts,” and his criticism of her has made Queen Camilla into a “very formidable enemy.”
Both Prince William and Prince Harry were “equally opposed to Charles marrying Camilla.” The Prince of Wales eventually found respect for his new stepmother, whereas the Duke of Sussex never found common ground with Charles’ wife. That said, although Harry still has a small chance at the end of this year to reconcile with The Royal Family, Queen Camilla is sure to give him a hard time if he attempts to mend the rift he’s created with the Palace.
