Prince William didn’t hold back his inner Swiftie as he attended Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in London on Friday. The Prince of Wales looked like he was having the time of his life as he and his two oldest children, George and Charlotte, watched the singer perform. Fans were in awe of William’s fun and frisky personality during the concert, and he was even filmed dancing wildly and freely during the song “Shake It Off.”
Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday at the Taylor Swift concert with two of his children. However, his wife, Kate Middleton, and youngest son, Louie, stayed back. At the show, William, George, and Charlotte sat in a box away from the crowd but still had a blast. As Swift sang her hit song “Shake It Off,” William was filmed showing off his wild dance moves, and fans had a huge reaction to the iconic moment, per OK! Magazine.

“And that ladies and gents..the future king of England,” one fan declared. “He was getting it with the ultimate dad moves,” another tweeted.
“Prince William got moves & boy ..I tell you… George & Charlotte are definitely embarrassed,” another comment read. “Love his energy! It’s electric!” a fourth fan stated.
However, William’s fun didn’t end there. After the show, he and the kids went backstage to meet Swift. As a bonus, they also got to meet her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce. The whole group posed for a selfie together and looked to be having a blast. “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” the singer captioned the photo. The picture also marked Swift and Kelce’s first official Instagram post together.
It’s been a rough few years for Prince William. He’s lost both of his grandparents and continues his rift with his brother, Prince Harry. In addition, both his father, King Charles, and his wife, Kate Middleton, have been diagnosed with cancer. Letting loose at the Taylor Swift concert was likely just the thing he needed to escape for a few hours.
