Prince William is allegedly already making major plans for when he becomes king. One such plan reportedly has him enticing his younger brother, Prince Harry, to return to the royal family fold. However, there is one major catch. Harry would have to leave his marriage to Meghan Markle behind and file for divorce, as William is said to want no part of the drama the Duchess of Sussex brings to the firm.
According to the May 26 edition of Globe Magazine, Prince William is ready to offer Prince Harry an olive branch, but he won’t extend it to Meghan Markle. Instead, he’s hoping to lure Harry away from his wife so that he can reconcile with the royals once William ascends the throne and becomes king.
“William hears all the rumors about trouble in paradise between Harry and Meghan,” an insider dished. “What’s more, he’s watched Harry turn into a completely different person right before his eyes. It’s safe to say that William blames Meghan for being responsible. He’ll never forgive her.”
Sources tell the outlet that William can tell by Harry’s body language that his younger brother isn’t happy with his current life in America. The Prince of Wales allegedly believes that Harry is “too stubborn and brainwashed” to admit that he made a huge mistake by leaving the royal family.
Prince William Offers Prince Harry Reconciliation If He Ditches Meghan Markle
The princes have been engaged in a royal feud since 2020, when Harry and Meghan decided to quit their roles as active working members of the family and move to the U.S. The pair eventually settled in California and began to focus on their own business ventures. However, the distance did nothing to ease the stress between the brothers. Instead, things went from bad to worse.
Meghan and Harry gave an intense and scathing interview about the royals, which raised eyebrows across the globe. Later, Harry penned a memoir titled Spare, which detailed his true feelings about the royal family and his place inside the firm. Most recently, Harry blamed his father, King Charles, for not putting a stop to the royal rift, even revealing that Charles refuses to take his phone calls.
Through it all, Meghan Markle seems to be the common theme in the feud between Harry and his family. So, William allegedly decided to lay his cards on the table and give his brother an ultimatum. However, he doesn’t expect his plan to work.
“As long as Meghan’s on the scene, William simply won’t entertain the possibility of making peace with Harry. It would only work if she were long gone from Harry’s life,” the informant stated. “Realistically, William doesn’t expect his brother to leave Meghan, but he wouldn’t be the least surprised if she gets bored of Harry at some point and spits him out.”
Unfortunately, for now, Prince William has no plans of reconciliation with Prince Harry as long as Meghan Markle is still in the picture. With no signs of the feud between the brothers coming to an end, there’s no telling how ugly things could get moving forward.
