The conflict between pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protestors doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Every protest out there has a counter-protest from the other side. Sometimes, however, the disagreement between the two can become violent and hostile. Two pro-Israel New York women were seen pushing and mocking two Muslim women following a pro-Palestine protest. People were left disgusted by how the pro-Israel New York women were, especially since it was in public. Not to mention that the two Muslim women weren’t doing anything to them.
One of the two pro-Israel New York women is seen at first standing in an anti-genocide protest with Israel’s flag projected on her iPad. She is later seen standing with a man and a woman. The other woman saw two Muslim women walking down the street and went their way to push them with her shoulder. It was on purpose, especially since she was standing away from where they were going. She pretended to walk down the street to push them and act like it was an accident.
The two Muslim women stop and you can hear one of them saying, “what the f**k are you doing? What the f**k are you doing? Do you feel great hitting a girl?” The other of the two pro-Israel New York women then proceeds to mock the hijab of the Muslim women as they confronted them. The whole situation is simply disgusting. The pro-Israel New York women went out of their way to hurt and insult the Muslim women. This kind of behavior will never be acceptable.
People Reacting to the Pro-Israel New York Women’s Actions
People in the comments were enraged about how the pro-Israel New York women behaved. One person assumed they were from Israel and said, “Representing her country to a tee.” Another was disgusted by their actions. “They always have the same smug entitled attitude in videos, it’s gross,” they wrote. Another person also believed that the pro-Israel New York women went out of their way to harass the two Muslim women. “You can see she waited and then pushed her intentionally. It’s blatant assault,” they said. Someone replied, “Yeah I’d be going to the police with this.” There was, however, another person who pointed out how the Trump administration supports Israel. “Zionists control the state now so their violence is considered justified,” that person wrote.
The criticism against the New York women kept going as almost no one agreed with how they acted. “zionists are disgusting people. Free Palestine,” one wrote. Another hoped that they could reveal the identities of the two women. “Just hope we get a link to them being fired,” they said. One Redditor pointed out the apparent contradiction between what pro-Israel protestors say and what they do. “So the group that constantly claims they’re under existential threat and facing hate everywhere… decides to harass a Muslim woman at an anti-genocide rally?” they asked. The entire situation is infuriating. The fact that the two pro-Israel New York women can act like this without facing consequences makes you question the kind of world we live in.
