Everyone who is subscribed to the Extra tier of PS Plus will soon lose the ability to play 9 games in March. Since the growing library is available to Extra and Premium tier users, Sony periodically adds and removes games to keep it viable.
While overall the collection is definitely growing, albeit slowly, some titles inevitably have to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium as well. Games like Metro Exodus, Saints Row: The Third Remastered, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, The Turing Test, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition were taken off PS Plus Extra last month. Now the list of games leaving in March has been confirmed.
Initially spotted by TrueTrophies, that scoured the entire PlayStation Store to find out which games are going. Here is the complete list of games that are leaving the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus in March 2023:
PS Plus Extra Games Leaving March 2023
- Danger Zone
- Dungeons 2
- Ghost of a Tale
- Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5
- Override 2: Super Mech League
- The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
- Velocibox
- Victor Vran Overkill Edition
- WWE 2K22
PlayStation Plus subscribers that are interested in playing any of these titles should not that they will no longer be able to access these games through PS Plus. If they do want to play any of these titles after March, they will have to buy them normally.
Sony has been adding trophy support to classic games available in the PS Plus Premium catalog, giving users more incentive to go back and revisit some classics. None of the games leaving the service are anything to write home about, while on the bright side, the following games will be joining the PS Plus line-up soon:
- Tchia
- Ghostwire: Tokyo
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
- Rainbow Six Extraction
- Immortals Fenyx Rising
These games aren’t the free titles that subscribers get every month, since those remain bound to your account once you claim them.
