PlayStation VR has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 2017. When it launched with only a handful of titles many were skeptical. Support for the device was wary as fans weren’t sure of the PS4’s performance. Yet, the device has been extremely successful in bringing new ways of play. For Sony, five years of console virtual reality is a definite feat. With a VR solution coming for the PlayStation 5 as well, Sony is looking back fondly. For the PSVR 5th anniversary celebration, Sony is looking to bring fun to everyone else. With a whole blog post cataloging experiences and favorite titles, they also revealed what’s to come for PlayStation Plus subscribers. In November, Sony is promising to add three PSVR PlayStation Plus games for subscribers.

When Will PlayStation Plus Users Get the Three PSVR Games?
The 5th anniversary celebration did reveal the most popular PSVR titles as of yet. Globally, these titles are Rec Room, Beat Saber, and PlayStation VR Worlds. With Skyrim VR and Resident Evil 7 VR joining those titles, PlayStation VR has gotten so much support. While we don’t know what the PlayStation Plus titles will be, fans will be happy to know that there will be extras to next month’s offerings. The PSVR 5th anniversary still focuses on PS4 as the PS5 VR model has yet to be seen. Despite this, Sony remains confident in its PS4 VR offerings. Expanding to more users, the free games might entice more people to check out PSVR. PlayStation Plus users should be on the lookout for November’s additions. Promising to add three titles from PSVR’s catalog, subscribers will get a decent bonus. After already offering Moss, Astro Bot, Paper Beast, and Thumper this past Play at Home, the free catalog for PlayStation VR is expanding much wider.
