Quad Webb is not playing games with Phaedra Parks. In a new interview, the reality TV star destroyed the lawyer and mother of two for saying she “revived” Married to Medicine. In case you missed it, Phaedra has been in the middle of a breakout year following performances on The Traitors and Dancing With The Stars. Of course, she’s starring in the current season of M2M; however, she’s returning to Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 16. When asked about her involvement, she said something interesting. “I revive most shows. Look at the numbers for Married to Medicine.” Phaedra’s comments raised eyebrows among a few of her co-stars. Dr. Heavenly Kims, who’s known to stir up trouble, responded. “I’m sure she didn’t say that, must be AI,” she wrote on X. However, Quad Webb wasn’t as polite about it. So, what did she have to say?
Quad Responds to Phaedra’s Wild Claims
During an interview with Dish Nation, Quad responded to Phaedra’s claims about reviving one of Bravo’s longest-running shows. “I don’t understand how Phaedra could be so big of herself,” she began. The reality star continued, saying M2M had been doing strong for nine seasons before Parks joined the cast. Webb told the interviewers that Phaedra should be “more appreciative of us ushering her back into the world of entertainment.”
In case you forgot, Phaedra was sidelined from reality television after Season 9 of Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2017. Following a several-year hiatus, Parks made her return on Season 10 of Married to Medicine in 2023.
The new gig also brought her other opportunities, including DWTS. She also became the breakout star in Season 2 of Peacock’s Emmy Award-winning series The Traitors. But that’s not all. Parks will rejoin the cast of RHOA for Season 16, which was announced in July 2024.
Consequently, Quad believes Phaedra should thank the cast of M2M for giving her career a newfound life. “Pay homage to the girls because we won’t be paying homage to you,” she said.
Phaedra Responds
Phaedra responded to Quadd and Dr. Heavenly’s statements during an exit interview for Dancing With The Stars. The reality star seemed unbothered as she danced around questions regarding the current season of M2M (which she stars in) and her cast mates. When presented with the comments that Quad and Heavenly “revived” her career, Phaedra brushed the statements off.
“Numbers never lie,” she told Extra. “[Season 10] was the best numbers that they’ve had in the history of the show. And the only thing different was myself and Sweet Tea, so it was either Sweet Tea … or me.”
Married To Medicine is currently airing its 11th season on Bravo. However, that doesn’t mean the drama is over. Soon, the cast will gather with host Andy Cohen for the reunion special. There, they’ll come face-to-face for the first time since wrapping production, and it’s sure to be anything but pretty. With all of the shade that has been thrown over the last few weeks, watchers are surely in for one wild ride.
