Performance-Based Difficultly

Are flashbacks from previous R-Type games getting the better of you? Worry not! The game will feature a system that adjusts to each individuals’ performance. This means enemies will evolve along with your ability to navigate the wild stages of R-Type. In addition, you will also be able to check worldwide leaderboards to see where you rank against other pilots across the globe.

Custom Loadout

Set yourself apart from other pilots by customizing your ships to your liking. Players will be able to change the colors of the ship along with the weapons, decals, and pilots. For those who want to feel some nostalgia, previous fighters from other R-Type games will also be available.

“Evolved and Enhanced”

The R-Type games have always been known for their frenetic gameplay and eye-catching visuals. R-Type Final 2 will be keeping those features and adapting them for the current and next-gen platforms. It will feature modern 3D-visuals and the aforementioned performance-based difficulty, making it accessible to old and new players alike. Moreover, long-time fans will be able to blast their way through alien hordes in re-imagined classic stages from previous R-Type games.
