It’s really never a surprise to find a boomer who takes issue with a black person just because of the color of their skin. This is the way that so many of them were raised. They just decided not to take a lesson in how not to be a horrible person. A racist white boomer in Oklahoma thought he would try to scare a black man in the only way he knew how: By threatening the police. The outlandish conversation between the two had this man giggling at the end. However, it points to a much broader issue we see every day.
Lani G (@lanigmadeit) posted a TikTok video after an outrageous conversation with a racist boomer. Lani states in the caption, “All I asked was if bro could open the door so I can use the bathroom, you can’t make this up.” Apparently, the white boomer took offense to the fact that Lani would even speak in his direction. You can hear the boomer say to him, “Get the f**k out of here.”
The boomer, who is wearing a “Red White BOOM” shirt says to Lani, “The cops are coming right now.” As Lani stands there wondering what to say, the boomer continues, “I’ll tell them you tried to kill me. They’ll take you downtown. How you like that, you motherf****r?” he asks. When Lani tells him that he just recorded him saying that, the boomer seems unphased. He says, “They’ll have to look at it” implying that they would just take his word over Lani’s.
In the end, Lani calls the man “goofy” and laughs about the entire interaction. It would be funny except for the fact that boomers actually feel this way. He thinks the color of his skin gives him special benefits and control over Lani. That just doesn’t feel right in any way. As one commenter pointed out, “The sad part is he knows he can weaponize law enforcement against you!”
Another commenter stated, “The shirt really ties it all together” because you would expect this from a man wearing an American flag t-shirt. His anger is palpable as he shows nothing but hatred toward Lani, who just wanted to use the bathroom. Apparently, this man still lives in the 1950s.
