In a major display of intolerance and brittleness, a man in Santa Clara, California, was outraged by a Hispanic woman speaking Spanish. The blatantly racist fellow then began melting down in incoherentness after the same lady spoke perfect English.
The clip of the brief interaction between the triggered California man and the Hispanic lady was shared by Robbie Harvey on TikTok. The video shows the man completely overwhelmed with racism-fueled emotion, as he pontificates, “You need to speak English. I don’t appreciate you with Spanish.”
Displaying the classic crazy eyes you would see in your everyday Karen, the man wasn’t taking kindly to the woman who had asked him to stop being aggressive. Mind you, the lady had requested this in perfect English. So, as soon as the man uttered his bigoted phrase, a Hispanic lad standing next to him, confused, said, “She’s speaking English.”
The angry man, being confronted with the obvious truth, wasn’t letting it go. The lady, meanwhile, added, “I’m speaking English to you. I can speak any other language that I want.”
However, the elderly chump continued his racist diatribe. He added, “As far as I’m concerned, you’re disrespectful to me when you’re talking on that phone.” Then, having a full tinfoil hat moment, the man added that he didn’t have any idea what the Hispanic lady was saying. Finally, he said that she “could be calling the Spanish…“
Unfortunately, the Hispanic lady interrupted, so no one will ever know what the man meant. Whereas it was the Spanish Inquisition, the Spanish Police, or the Spanish Avengers, it is unclear.
Racist Man Blasted, Reactions
What is crystal clear is the man’s bigotry, which was addressed by many users who reacted to the clip.
“Who is he to dictate what she does?” one user commented. Another one said, “It’s none of his business what language she speaks on the phone.” A third one wrote, “Why is it so hard to mind your business?!? They mind people’s bodies, relationships, marriages. Damn!“
With his clip going viral, one can only hope that this California man will be able to treat his aversion to Spanish. Chances are, though, he will keep getting triggered by the fourth most spoken language in the world.
