A man in Colorado is being described as racist online after he called a female Hispanic vendor an “illegal” and allegedly then damaged her fruit cart.
In the video, the man was on a motorcycle in front of the woman’s business, which she had set up along a road. He began verbally attacking her, telling her to “get out of here.” He then called her an “illegal” and added, “Go back to Mexico, [expletive] illegal.”
The second part of the video showed a translated version of what the vendor said following the incident. She alleged that the man came by and pushed her business to the ground. “I do not know what is wrong with the man. He’s angry because I’m selling. I do not know,” she added.
The camera then showed fruit scattered on the ground, with the vendor’s cart damaged after the man allegedly pushed it. The woman said that the situation left her scared because of how the man behaved toward her. “Everything is on the ground because of the man,” she said.
A third part of the video showed additional footage of the confrontation. In it, someone asked the man why he did what he did, presumably referring to the alleged destruction of the woman’s cart. In response, the man said, “[expletive] you,” and continued repeating it even as someone could be heard saying to call the police.
The man then claimed that he did not do anything. In response, someone told him that he could not behave the way he did. The man then said that the vendor could not be there selling. After that, he got on his motorcycle and drove away. It is not clear from the video whether he faced any consequences for the alleged incident.
Viewers Outraged After Racist Colorado Man Harasses Hispanic Vendor
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers were left outraged after seeing what the man said and did toward the Hispanic vendor. “I wish he could be identified. Sorry to this woman working hard in Colorado for years. Not everyone is full of disrespect and hate,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Another [expletive] Yahoo scumbag who thinks he can push women around.”
More people criticized the man, with one person writing, “I would rather have the lady in the country than the hateful, racist, unhinged [expletive] yelling at her.” Another commenter said, “Hate filled Trump Maga incidents like this are happening more often under the Orange Pedos reign.” Someone else added, “He is an evil racist piece of [expletive] and there are way too many of them in this country.”
The video sparked a conversation about the rise in racially charged incidents across the country and concerns about harassment directed at innocent people based on their nationality or ethnicity. It also led to broader discussions about accountability, with many viewers arguing that individuals who engage in such behavior should face appropriate consequences for their actions.
