Unfortunately, more people have grown bold enough to openly display their racism, often using ICE as a weapon against immigrants. Many now look for any excuse to call deportation services, even when the people they target are in the country legally.
A recent example involves a racist Florida woman who took issue with a group of hardworking immigrants driving work trucks. One of the drivers recorded the incident, showing a long line of trucks forced to stop on the road because of her actions.
According to the video, the woman parked her own truck directly in the middle of the road, intentionally blocking the others and preventing them from leaving.
The driver eventually approached the Florida woman, who many viewers said fit the stereotypical “Karen” behavior. In the video, she can be heard telling him, “I said ICE is coming.”
She had effectively stopped multiple people from doing their jobs simply because she believed they were immigrants. Toward the end of the video, she is seen arguing with another driver, making a phone-call gesture, and claiming she was going to contact the police.
According to the driver who posted the video, she eventually left the scene after realizing law enforcement wasn’t taking her seriously. Thankfully, no one was arrested, but the situation could have ended very differently if ICE had actually shown up and detained drivers who hadn’t done anything to harm her.
People Reacting to the Racist Florida Karen’s Actions
People were quite disturbed by what the Florida Karen did. Seeing someone like her having no problem with ruining the lives of dozens is definitely shocking. Since such a situation is becoming more common, one person wrote, “I’m so sick of racist people in America. Donald Trump has made it much much worse and I absolutely am sick of it.” Others commented on how she had a cross and still acted like this. “Notice this ‘Christian’ has a cross hanging form her window,” someone wrote. Another person replied, “I noticed that, too. Perhaps she doesn’t realize Jesus was woke: feed the hungry, heal the sick, welcome the stranger, and all that. I swear, if Jesus showed up here today, the right-wing christians (they don’t deserve a capital C) in this country would crucify him again.”
Many people also focused their criticism on the Florida woman’s behavior and appearance after the video surfaced. Some comments were harsh. One person referred to her as “inbred,” while another wrote, “She looks like walking liver failure with that lumpage going on. No surprise someone like this is that unhinged.”
Others shifted their anger toward the financial impact her actions may have caused. One commenter said, “I hope they charge the old racist for every penny those workers lost. Dump trucks and drivers aren’t cheap, and she stopped them from doing their jobs. Depends on how red the state is, I guess.”
Regardless of the commentary, many agreed on one thing: her actions went too far, and she should face real consequences for deliberately interfering with people trying to work.
