A White woman in California sparked outrage after she was filmed making racist remarks toward a female Asian driver during a confrontation on the road. According to the person who shared the video, the incident escalated further when the woman allegedly followed the driver toward her home, raising concerns among viewers about harassment and intimidation.
The driver shared the incident online and described what she said happened. According to her, the woman mistakenly believed that she was being followed, even though the woman had been driving behind her after they exited a road. As the confrontation escalated, the driver alleged that the woman pulled in front of her vehicle and then followed her all the way to her home.
The driver said the woman began acting “crazy” and repeatedly accused her of being the one who was following her. She also alleged that the woman stopped abruptly in the middle of the street during the confrontation. Fearing for her safety, the driver said she chose not to stop at her home because she did not want the woman to know where she lived.
The driver added that she was not able to capture the entire interaction on video. However, she alleged that the woman made racist gestures by pulling her eyes back to mimic Asian eyes. The woman also reportedly told the driver, “I’m kinda scared,” before informing her that she had taken a photo of her license plate.
The footage captured by the driver reportedly showed the woman making racist remarks during the confrontation. “Go back to Asia and ride your rickshaw. You piece of [expletive] Asian,” she said before driving away. At present, the driver and some online users are attempting to identify the woman involved in the incident.
