Rainbow Six Extraction has today launched its February 11 update, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. As we’re only a few weeks following the debut of the game itself, the updates being made are more to clear up some annoying bugs than anything else. Today is, to no one’s surprise, no different. Following a short downtime, a load of fixes were made to various platforms of the game, including crash fixes, hitbox adjustments, and more! These aren’t anything worth getting excited over but hey, who’s complaining about fixes? Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Rainbow Six Extraction in its February 11 update!

Rainbow Six Extraction February 11 Update Patch Notes
Rainbow Six Extraction How to Survive

  • Fixed an issue that was causing freezes/lag during gameplay for Xbox players.

  • Fixed multiple issues causing the game to crash on launch on PC.

  • Fixed an issue where throwing Stun Grenades near Blinding Spores would occasionally cause the game to crash.

  • Fixed an issue that was causing players to occasionally get stuck in an infinite Airlock transition.

  • Fixed an issue with the Sludge’s hitbox.

  • Fixed multiple instances where players would find themselves unable to interact or perform other key actions. (voting, aiming, shooting etc.)

Like said, there isn’t much exciting here. The main thing being fixed is crashes and freezes while playing on either PC or Xbox platforms. Given the way both issues are worded, it seems these were widespread issues across the community. With that in mind, it’s great to see them being tackled. The other issues being corrected are great too, seeing as most of them were game-breaking. With that all being said though, hopefully, a nearby update will bring us a bit more content to get excited about.

Rainbow Six Extraction and the February 11 update are available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia, and Luna platforms. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Reddit post.
