Rainbow Six Extraction is the latest addition to the long-running Tom Clancy series and sees players entering an alien-infested zone to complete several different objectives with a team of three as different Operators. As is the style with the co-op genre, players are going to want to play with friends. With the recent trend of games over the last few years, including cross-play in their multiplayer games so that people can play with each other no matter their platform of choice, players will want to know if Rainbow Six Extraction follows this trend. Which begs the question: is there crossplay in Rainbow Six Extraction? This guide will explain if there is cross-play in Rainbow Six Extraction.
Is There Crossplay in Rainbow Six Extraction?
The simple answer is yes, there is cross-play in Rainbow Six Extraction, and it is on by default if you look at the settings within the matchmaking menu. While it is nice to know that you will be able to play with random players on different systems, players who want to utilize the feature to play with friends will need to take a few extra steps to get across platform lines. To use cross-play in not only Rainbow Six Extraction but also other Ubisoft developed titles, you and your friends will need to sign up for Ubisoft Connect. Once you sign up, you will need to link your account to the account on the system you are playing on. To link your account, go to the “Account Management” tab and look under “Account Information.” There will be a list of systems that you can link to.
