Rapper bbno$ has joined the bandwagon of Elon Musk haters and is unafraid to show it! It’s no news that the Tesla CEO has become the subject of dislike thanks to his far-right conservative political views. While others take different forms to express their distaste for the businessman, bbno$ is calling him out on live television .
In a moment that has now gone viral on Reddit, the rapper called out the tech mogul during his acceptance speech at the Juno Awards on Sunday. When the 29-year-old was announced as the winner of the TikTok Juno fan choice award, he got on stage beaming. He began his speech by expressing his surprise at the win before revealing that Shawn Mendes has soft hands.
The Not a Beanie rapper continued, crediting his parents, fans, and his team for their support. At the end of his speech, the Vancouver artist dropped a bombshell message for the 53-year-old. “Also, Elon Musk is a piece of garbage,” the edamame artist proudly declared. The comment aroused loud cheers from the audience.
Backstage, bbno$ got candid about his explosive outburst, expressing his feelings towards the X CEO. According to the young star, his sentiment towards Musk grew after his infamous Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration. Coincidentally, the Canadian songwriter participated in a gay rights protest on the same day Musk gave the salute. He recalled to Vancouver Is Awesome:
“I was kissing my friend Will Neff on a stream and we like broke the f**king internet doing that. The same day I did that, (Musk) sieg heil-ed. So he can just eat a piece of sh*t.”
bbno$ further criticized that no one should be making the salute in this modern age before comparing his actions with Musk’s actions. He explained, “So I just remember being like, ‘You know what, I’m spreading positivity while he’s spreading hate. So f*ck Elon Musk until I die.”
Reddit users came out in numbers to react to the video, and some commended the rapper. This Redditor wrote, “King sh*t (idk who this is but let me go stream his music).”
Another user commented about the hip-hop star’s good deeds. The user penned, “Don’t know much about him but he helped Ironmouse raise money for the IDF (immune deficiency foundation, not the other one), and that made me insta like him.”
A third person praised bbno$ writing, “F**king Finally, someone famous is saying something. It’s wild how at the Grammys no one said shit while Musk was raising USAID and firing people randomly.”
This netizen seemingly mocked Musk with a comment that read, “And now Elmo will go on a talk show and talk about how hurt his feelings are.” A fourth person joined in mockery, commenting, “Quick! Get Elon on Faux News so he can call him a big meanie. But yes, we should all be saying this. F**k you, Elon.”
There has been no comment from Elon Musk concerning the viral video.
