Reese Witherspoon‘s decision to enjoy a snow snack has once again proven she is unapologetically herself. Recently, the actress, who divorced Jim Toth last year, took to social media with a video of her embracing the lighter side of life. The clip showed Reese Witherspoon eating snow prepared in quite an appetizing manner. As expected, the video sparked a heated debate, with fans questioning if it was safe to eat freshly fallen snow. Following the wave of questions, the star uploaded more videos, defending her snack choice.
Reese Witherspoon Shares Snow Snack Recipe
Over the years, many have lived with the notion that snow is unsafe to eat. Surprisingly, Witherspoon is not on that list. A few days ago, the 47-year-old took to TikTok with a video showing her recipe for a snowy dessert treat. The clip showed someone scooping snow off a vehicle into two cups. Next, they took the mugs inside and added some chocolate and salted caramel syrup to the snow. They finished off the treat with some cold brew for a “yummy coffee flavor.” Immediately after, the elegantly beautiful Witherspoon took a sip from the cup and couldn’t have been more pleased with the taste. “Oh my gosh. That’s so good,” the actress said. At the end of the clip, Witherspoon gave the dessert the perfect name — a snow salt Chococcino.
Witherspoon’s Reactions to Fans Thoughts On Her Snow Snack
Reese Witherspoon’s snow snack quickly prompted a debate so fierce that the actress was forced to address the concerns. Sharing three more videos, Witherspoon defended her snack choice, addressing the narrative that “snow is dirty.” In the first video, the Oscar winner replied to a fan who asked her to melt snow in a clear cup to see if it was safe to eat. To satisfy the fan’s curiosity, the Wild star held up a cup of melted snow, saying:
“There are so many people on here saying that snow is dirty. So we went and took snow from the backyard and microwaved it and it’s clear – is this bad? Am I not supposed to eat snow?”
In the second clip, Witherspoon agreed with a fan who revealed they ate snow as a child and were in the “you only live once category.” The actress said:
“So we’re kind of in a category of like you only live once and it shows maybe once a year here…by the way it was delicious.”
In the third video, Witherspoon recalled her childhood experience, responding to a comment about her getting sick from eating snow. She said she grew up not drinking filtered water, admitting they would put their mouths on the tap. Besides the concerns and questions, other fans related to Reese Witherspoon eating snow and shared their experiences.
